Elizabeth Briggs, VP/Secretary (NAIM)

Sherry Lucas Elizabeth Briggs is a lifelong Episcopalian. She is the mother of three, including an adult son with disabilities. She has 6 grandchildren.
After rearing her children she became an administrator for a non-profit association before becoming a law firm administrator. She is currently employed in a small boutique law firm where the attorneys practice Elder Law. They help families with estate planning and obtaining public benefits as well as trusts and probate.
Elizabeth served on the school board of Calvary Episcopal School. She also served as treasurer of The Arc of Ft. Bend County, an association for helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Other volunteer activities include Special Olympics, legislative advocacy for people with disabilities, and parent to parent networking.
